As a product designer leading growth initiatives for DreamFace, I drove the app to over 10M downloads and 200K+ DAU. By designing intuitive AI-powered video and animation features, I successfully transformed complex technology into a high-growth consumer product. I collaborated closely with engineers and product managers to iterate based on data, scaling the app into a global entertainment success.
The Observation: Users were genuinely impressed by our AI technology, yet they hesitated to share their creations on public social channels.
The Core Question: What specific things do people feel a deep personal attachment to, but also feel 100% safe and comfortable sharing with the world?

While browsing Instagram to understand privacy concerns, I discovered a fascinating pattern where users keep their personal accounts private but maintain public profiles for their pets. This insight revealed that pets are the ultimate emotional bridge, allowing people to share their lives openly without feeling vulnerable.

Moving from human to pet content changed everything. Instead of talking avatars, we posted a "singing pet" on Instagram to see what would happen. A single post skyrocketed from 20 likes to 732K, creating a massive influx of organic traffic.
